He completed MBBS from Government Medical College, Surat in 1976, Diploma in Otorhinolaryngology (DLO) from Medical College, Baroda in 1979 and MS - ENT from Medical College, Baroda in 1980. He is a member of Indian Medical Association (IMA) and Rotary Club of Surat Roundtown.
