Dr. Mallikarjun Kalashetty is a Hematologist at Manipal Hospital, Bangalore. He specializes in blood and marrow transplantation; treatment of haematologic disorders like- leukemia, lymphoma, myeloma, thalassemia, anemia, thrombocytopenia; and bleeding disorders. He has also published articles in national and international journals. Dr. Mallikarjun completed MBBS, and MD in general medicine from Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College, Belgaum. He did his DM in Clinical Haematology with top honors from Seth G S Medical College, and K E M Hospital Mumbai. He then went on to complete one year of Fellowship in Bone Marrow Transplantation from Vancouver General Hospital, Vancouver, Canada. On his return from Vancouver, he joined HCG MSR Cancer Center; M S Ramaiah Medical College, Bangalore as a Consultant Haematologist & in charge bone marrow transplantation program, and started state-of-the-art stem cell transplantation program and Clinical Haematology services
